Our Story

From Ibadan,
to the world.

Madestone Football Academy was founded in 2021 in Ibadan, Oyo State, on a simple conviction: a child's first football education should be as serious, as structured and as joyful as anywhere in the world.

Today, more than 200 players train across three centres in the city — every session planned and delivered under a UEFA C licensed coach certified by The English FA, with periodic assessments and end-of-term performance reports for every child.

Expansion is underway at IITA Ibadan and partner schools in Lagos State — but the mission hasn't moved an inch: discipline, teamwork and joy, one session at a time.

How We Develop Players

The Four Corner Model

Great footballers are built as whole people, not just athletes. Every Madestone session trains all four corners.

01

Technical

Passing, dribbling, shooting, ball control and receiving — first-team habits from the first touch.

02

Tactical

Game awareness, positioning, attacking and defending principles, and decision-making under pressure.

03

Physical

Speed, strength, agility, endurance and coordination — age-appropriate athletic development.

04

Social & Psychological

Communication, confidence, teamwork, leadership and discipline — the corner that lasts a lifetime.

The Tactics Board
